Good Dog! Cozy Cottage & Spa is a Veteran owned and operated business. It started as a dream to create a loving and nurturing environment for dogs, where they could both learn and relax. Rachel Richards combined her lifelong love for dogs with her extensive experience in canine behavior to bring this vision to life.

Rachel, has over 2 decades of experience working with both pets and working K-9s. She uses a variety of techniques for a balanced approached to dog training. She ensures the dog has a solid grasp of a skill before moving on to the next skill. This has proven itself time and again with her own personal dogs, as well as some client dogs, that she has taken on to compete in Obedience and Rally. She also trains and handles her own dogs for studio set work .

However, there is no "I" in Team. Rachel's husband, Bill, adds his expertise to Rachel's and assists with the care of the dogs staying with them. Together, they are teaching their children about animal care and what it takes to run a small business. Don't be surprised if one of them greets you at the door to help settle your dog in for their stay or to say goodbye when your pup heads home with you.

The whole family is committed to treating your dog like part of their family, ensuring they receive top-notch training and the same level of care they would want for their own pets. Whether it's training, overnight boarding, or grooming, they pour their hearts into every service they provide, making sure your dog enjoys a true home away from home.
